Members of the UW-System staff will provide an update on their efforts to increase oversight and improve efficiency in the development and implementation of UW-System IT projects. This will include an update on all active IT projects with a cost of over $1 million. In addition, staff will provide a thorough overview of the UW-System HRS project.

Oskar Anderson, State of Wisconsin Department of Administration Chief Information Officer and members of his staff will provide testimony on how his department has increased oversight and enhanced management policies for state IT projects. This will include an overview of changes the department has made in the development, oversight and implementation of all IT projects, especially those that cost more than $1 million. In addition, they will also provide an update on all active major IT projects currently underway.
